Description

The two-day Temporary Works Co-ordinator Training Course (TWCTC) is designed for those responsible for managing all aspects of temporary works on-site. It aims to equip participants with the knowledge needed to effectively oversee temporary works while providing senior management with confidence that those appointing and working with contractors meet an assessed standard of competence.

This course is designed for project managers, site managers and supervisors, business owners and clients, the course is fully interactive involving presentations, videos supported by exercise.

• the need for and duties of a TWC
• the roles of others
• the BS 5975 in respect of the role
• the importance of the ‘4Cs’: communication, co-ordination, co-operation and competency
• the need for risk management
