Contractor on Deployment Operations CONDO deployment courses will enable the trained delegate to deploy worldwide with confidence and in the knowledge that any situation will be faced with the assurance of up to date awareness and preparedness. Using a combination of risk assessment strategies and focused training, our CONDO deployment courses prepare potential civilian contractors for overseas deployments in direct support of the UK military. SOTA’s CONDO bespoke training will ensure that every delegate receives the ideal preparation prior to commencing working and living in a foreign or complex environment.

The CONDO Deployment Courses are delivered in our Training Academy on the outskirts of Derby (DE24 8GJ). Our Contractor on Deployment Operations (CONDO) Instructors have extensive military backgrounds including recent in-theatre experience from Iraq, Afghanistan and the African Continent.

Topics of Contractor on Deployment Operations (CONDO) modules:

• Understand the principles of the employment of Contractors on Deployed Operations (CONDO)
• Understand the roles of and the interactions between members of the Military Command Chain relating to a CONDO task
• Understand the overarching political, geographic, cultural and meteorological issues that affect CONDO deployment
• Understand the medical facilities on the deployment
• Understand the actions to be taken when faced with a medical emergency
• Understand the employer’s responsibilities for evacuation and the sources and impacts of stress on deployment and post deployment
• Understand the safety issues on Deployment
• Understand and apply the requirements for collective security and force protection
• Understand and apply the requirements for personal protection
• Understand and report local security threats and other factors during deployment
• Understand the differences between life in the UK and that whilst deployed
• Understand issues relating to the provision of Operational Welfare
• Understand the legal construct underpinning the deployment and the legal constraints and freedoms that this places upon them
• Be able to respond to a CBRN attack
• Understand the use of CBRN Individual Protective Equipment (IPE) when a specific CBRN threat exists to a CONDO Deployment

Refresher Contractor on Deployment Operations – (CONDO)

Abbreviated and affordable annual refresher CONDO deployment training is available as required by DEFSTAN 05-129 to keep you in currency.

On successful completion of the Contractor on Deployment Operations (CONDO) Course each delegate will be provided with a TQUK Level 3 Award certificate as a precursor to CONDO Registration. CONDO Certificates are valid for 1 Year.
